Week 1

My name is Dan Kauk and I am the principal at Two Springs Elementary. Prior to being principal at Two Springs, I was the Lead Teacher and principal at Fairview Elementary. My classroom experiences include teaching kindergarten in Bullhead City, AZ and kindergarten at Peter Sarpy Elementary in Bellevue. I received my elementary degree from Doane College, my Masters in Educational Leadership through Doane College and I am current working on my Ed.S/Ed.D. through Doane College. I have had a lot of experience with technology and try to use it with my everyday tasks. I currently received an iPad 2 and have been experimenting with a variety of different ways to utilize it with walk throughs, meetings and communicating with staff. I also purchased an iPhone 4S and have synced it with my iPad to help myself stay organized and informed. I have always been a PC person, but my recent experiences with both my iPad and iPhone have opened my eyes to the outstanding features Apple products have. I look forward to learning how to utilize Blogging with both the Two Springs staff and other building principals.
